Through its partner, Viar Valvole, Trouvay & Cauvin Ltd has extended its range of cryogenic valves. Viar Valvole is a well-established Italian manufacturer of floating and trunnion-mounted ball valves with a reputation for consistent investment in its testing and research facilities.

The company now has full cryogenic testing facilities to -196°C and is able to provide cryogenic valves in both split body and top-entry design. High pressure gas testing is enabled through an on-site liquid nitrogen plant capable of generating pressures up to 600 barg.

An important factor for customers to consider is that Viar Valvole sources all its forgings and castings from Europe and does all critical machining in-house. This provides users with high integrity valves and guaranteed compliance.

Eric Buchanan, Managing Director of Trouvay & Cauvin UK says “Cryogenic valves are available with fugitive emission testing, manual and actuated versions and with various end connections, including compact flanges, butt-weld ends and of course ANSI flanges.”

The cryogenic ball valves added to Trouvay & Cauvin’s range of cryogenic gate and globe valves give clients a diversity of choice with complete assurance that the valves are designed, manufactured and tested to the highest standards.

Eric Buchanan concludes “Trouvay and Cauvin Ltd is delighted to be associated with Viar Valvole. Through this level of investment the company leads the way to ensure that all valves comply with customer specification and meet the most demanding performance expectations.”
