Trouvay & Cauvin 5 man team enter Manchester 10k Legacy Event

IMG00033-20120819-0941On the 19 August, 2012 Trouvay & Cauvin Limited entered a 5 man team into the East Manchester 10k Legacy Event.  Team TC consisted of Jon Mason, Richard Coombs, Richard Beesley, Gary Lumley from Trouvay & Cauvin Limited and Kevin Wheeldon of Elmac Technologies, a key supplier alliance member.

Each team member had only 12 weeks to get themselves fit enough to complete the course at Clayton Vale, Manchester, in the best possible time. We are pleased to announce that each runner not only completed the course, but did so with impressive times on a tough course in hot conditions!

The team ran for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital - Alder Hey is one of Europe’s biggest and busiest children’s hospitals, providing care for over 200,000 children each year.  In addition to the hospital site, they are present at more than 40 community outreach sites and programmes and their consultants hold 800 clinic sessions each year from Cumbria to Shropshire, helping deliver care closer to home.  As it stands, Team TC have raised over £180.00 for Alder Hey with sponsorship money still coming in.

It was great for team moral and we also raised money for a very worthwhile charity, we are all very pleased we did it’.

Trouvay & Cauvin Limited now plan to make the 10k run an annual event raising money for local charities.
