Driving Global Change through Responsible Business

We support the UN Global Compact

UN Global Compact Participation Announcement.

Today, TROUVAY & CAUVIN Gulf FZCO is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary initiative for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.

With this announcement, TROUVAY & CAUVIN is proud to join thousands of other companies in the energy, construction and water sectors globally, that are committed to taking responsible business action to create the world we all want.

The UN Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 20,000 companies based in over 160 countries, and more than 60 Global Compact Networks.

At TROUVAY & CAUVIN, we express our commitment to integrating the principles of the UN Global Compact into our development strategy, company culture and daily operations. We actively participate in collaborative projects that support the United Nations’ broader development goals, with a special focus on the Sustainable Development Goals. We proudly affirm this commitment to our stakeholders, business partners and the public, striving to make a positive impact on the world.                               – Nicolas Bujes, CEO

Greening Our Operations with Solar Power

Milestone Achieved: Solar Panel Installation Completed

Solar panels installed at TROUVAY & CAUVIN yard in Jebel Ali.

In early 2023, TROUVAY & CAUVIN advanced its sustainability agenda by partnering with Yellow Door Energy (YDE) to install and lease a state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic system at our flagship Jebel Ali office and warehousing facility—the largest in our Group. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in our renewable energy journey.

Our new 200 kWp solar panel system is engineered to generate up to 321 MWh of renewable solar energy annually, efficiently covering around 90% of the facility’s electricity requirements. By harnessing this green energy, the initiative is set to offset nearly 3,148 tonnes of carbon emissions over its lifetime, significantly contributing to environmental conservation and reducing our carbon footprint.

With the solar panel installation now complete, TROUVAY & CAUVIN is ready to embark on the next phase of its eco-friendly transformation. This achievement underscores our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.

We invite all stakeholders to join us on our journey toward a cleaner, brighter, and more sustainable future.
