In early 2023, TROUVAY & CAUVIN advanced its sustainability agenda by partnering with Yellow Door Energy (YDE) to install and lease a state-of-the-art solar photovoltaic system at our flagship Jebel Ali office and warehousing facility—the largest in our Group. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in our renewable energy journey.
Our new 200 kWp solar panel system is engineered to generate up to 321 MWh of renewable solar energy annually, efficiently covering around 90% of the facility’s electricity requirements. By harnessing this green energy, the initiative is set to offset nearly 3,148 tonnes of carbon emissions over its lifetime, significantly contributing to environmental conservation and reducing our carbon footprint.
With the solar panel installation now complete, TROUVAY & CAUVIN is ready to embark on the next phase of its eco-friendly transformation. This achievement underscores our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.
We invite all stakeholders to join us on our journey toward a cleaner, brighter, and more sustainable future.
